The Extra Ordinary Metal collection explores new possible definitions of the metal surface, an industrial interpretation of a refined traditional goldsmithing technique, Etruscan Granulation. Obtained by cold drawing brass, it creates a rich interaction with light, enhancing both complex shapes and pure and neutral lines. The arrangement of the “granules” follows a geometric order generated by the Fibonacci sequence, named after the Italian mathematician who identified the numerical code behind the Golden Ratio that governs classical proportions.
